Government e Marketplace connects government buyers with registered sellers and service providers. Treat DSC readiness as one part of the complete seller and bid workflow.
1. Keep seller and signatory information consistent
Before participating, review the organization profile, authorized user information and documents relevant to the opportunity. A DSC should correspond to the person performing the signing action where required.
2. Use the official bid listing
Search opportunities on the official GeM bid listing, then review the complete bid document, dates, specifications, eligibility and corrigenda. Do not rely on summaries copied to third-party websites.
3. Learn the workflow before the deadline
GeM provides interactive Seller Journey courses covering registration, catalogue management, Bid and RA participation, order fulfillment and other seller processes.
4. Test access and signing early
Check account access, certificate validity, token software and any required signing step before preparing the final submission. Keep the token PIN private.
5. Separate opportunity discovery from DSC selection
A tender opportunity does not by itself determine whether you need an individual or organization-associated certificate, signing only or another configuration. Confirm the portal action and authorized capacity first.
